Give him 24 hours and he'd jump off of the nearest bridge. Seriously bruh...these dudes have no clue about walking in these shoes. SMH...they're clearly delusional.
I'm white, took the SAT, got into college, graduated. Worked in Telecom, government contractors, and commercial IT firms. Everywhere I worked, the workforce was predominately white, though there were were many minorities such as blacks, latinos, and Asians. I have never met one single white person who was denied college admission or a job due to affirmative action or some unspoken, mythical anti-white, minority-favoring hiring practice.
I firmly believe that people who complain that whites are denied college entrance or job opportunities because of blacks or other minorities were simply too stupid to get in to college or qualify for the job they think they deserve in the first place and they need someone else to blame.
There's a whole slew of "white heritage" websites that promote this kind of garbage. If you have a strong stomach and a lot of patience for hate-filled ignorant people, check out:
Do you want to be a Fire Fighter in NYC? You're good to go- as long as you're not white.
What you fail to take into account here is that in the New York Fire and Police Departments starting in the mid-19th century and extending into the present day a large number of these jobs were granted to Irish-American and Italian-American and other people based on a patronage and neoptism systems where in exchange for voting for specific politicians of their respective ethnicity people were able to get jobs. Once they got those jobs they continue to hire and promote among themselves. At the same time they were getting these jobs these same ethnic groups were actively working to discriminate against Black Americans in hiring and promotion practices.
Do you know why Affirmative Action exists?
It addresses persistent and systematic discrimination that started and in many cases still exists that keeps Black Americans from jobs and promotion opportunities.
What you obviously can't accept is if White Americans hadn't started the systematic segregation and exclusion of Black Americans from jobs, education, housing, credit, promotions and other means of economic, social and political empowerment THERE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN A NEED FOR AFFIRMATIVE ACTION.
This systematic exclusion in terms of hiring and promotions took place even AFTER DISCRIMINATION LAWS WHERE PASSED.
An African-American electrician discovered a noose in front of his work locker after filing a racial discrimination complaint against the New York Fire Department, the man's attorneys said Monday.
Gregory Seabrook said he found the noose Thursday at a firehouse where he worked in Brooklyn, New York, according to
his attorney, Howard Shafran.
"I was surprised and appalled that in this day and age I would find that," Seabrook told reporters.
The 20-year department veteran filed a complaint with The New York State Division of Human Rights in December, saying he was denied overtime, had fewer chances at promotions than his white counterparts and was referred to by his colleagues as a "black rat," according to the complaint.
The New York City Fire Department is being threatened with the imposition of hiring quotas as a remedy for the intentional race and national origin discrimination in their hiring. A Federal Judge in Brooklyn found that two written exams were not job related which had an adverse impact against numerous African-American and Hispanic candidates.
Among the remedial measures to be put in place are immediate emergency hiring of qualified minority candidates and revisions of the exams.
The reason Affirmative Action exists once again:
1. Blacks and other minority groups have historically been excluded from educational and job opportunities and promotion opportunities.
2. Discrimination Laws were passed to prohibit exclusionary behavior and discrimination.
3. Discrimination continued to be practiced against Black Americans and other minorities despite the laws in place.
4. Affirmative Action was put into place ensure various entities that had been found to discriminating would stop.
So if you're angry at anybody for Affirmative Action programs in place be angry at those people who continue to practice discriminatory and exclusionary behavior. Every time a case is brought to light and it's proven that discrimination and exclusionary behavior exists it further vindicates the need for Affirmative Action programs.
Also there are still plenty of White Americans being hired by the FDNY!

Whites still hold a disproportionate share of power and previlege in this country. To say that Whites are oppressed is absolutely absurd.
Whites, however, are losing some of their dominance in the recent decades, which may cause some to feel alarm.
The balance of power in the world is shifting, not just in racial demographics in the US, but amongst nation states in the world.
