This poll was commissioned by a right leaning "free market" group and is considered by some, one of the most accurate of Wisconsin polls.

Another Poll: Wisconsinites Disapprove Of Walker, Want Him To Compromise | TPMDC

This right leaning poll also has him at majority disapproval and growing.

Tell me again why those 14 Dem Senators need to worry about voter backlash by standing up to some bully who doesn't represent the majority in his State?

Man wanted the Democrats and Obama to compromise on the healthcare bill as well, but liberals celebrated their lack of compromising as a sign of leadership and strength.. Tell me why we should care about people wanting Walker to compromise?

Polling was split evenly on approval/disapproval on the health care bill.

The question here is asking if "Walker" should compromise, not both parties.

So apples and oranges.

No, the question was asked if Democrats should compromise, not both parties, and the Democrats said no, they should not compromise..

Not apples and oranges.. one party being asked if they should compromise..

Compomise is not bullying, overreach, lying during the campaign and going against what the majority of constituency wants, refusing to negotiate when the unions already gave into the initial financial demands...oh yeah...last but not least, not doing the bidding and dirty work of the Koch puppeteers.

He certainly misrepresented the extent of his financial reform package when running for office. He over reached in a slimey, politician sort of way.

After the bill is passed, after the governor repairs the damage done by the democrats, the voters will think differently.

Let's see what the voters say after the GOP/Governor save the taxpayers millions of dollars.

Here's another poll;

http://www.wpri.org/polls/March2011/poll0311.html

Quote:
Wisconsinites are deeply divided over Gov. Scott Walker’s plans regarding public employee benefits, wages and unions, according to a Wisconsin Policy Research Institute poll showing 51 percent somewhat or strongly opposed and 46 percent somewhat or strongly in favor.
I think I read that Walker's approval ratings was around 43%...from the 52% that elected him. Only a 9 point drop? I'll take that and he will easily make it up. Same thing happened in NJ and IN, rating was dropping for both governors and then.......IN gov won in a landslide and NJ Gov's has rebounded spectacularly.

Change is hard and the people will change their tunes when the GOP puts the state back on solid fiscal footing.

Anybody heard? The dems are coming back.

Another poll;

http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1295.xml?ReleaseID=1562

When the RIGHT questions are asked, the voters overwhelmingly reject the unions.

Thank guy the guy is a leader. We are at a time in our history when statesmen will do what is best for the country rather than what is best for their political careers. Too much of the latter has lead us to where we are today.
