No. It is a post-christian nation. Just like Europe. We hold on to a Judeo-Christian construct, but we do not "believe" (as a nation and as a matter of practice).
No, i think it's more set up to be of a hybird of collective tribes, modeled after the indian (Natives Americans) tribes that roamed the land when the founders set up "law" for the land.
Nice.
It always amazes me that people forget that Obama claims he is a Bible-believing Christian.
So I guess according to your thought process that Obama is an idiot bible-thumper.
It doesn't show much discerment or intelligence to label people you disagree with idiots. It just shows intolerance and igorance.
There are a lot of people who don't give a flying flip whether Obama is a Christian or not. That's his business and as long as his religion doesn't impair his ability to do his job impartially, then it simply doesn't matter one way or the other.
What's insulting, is when politicians claim that their faith is the official faith of the nation.
"The constitution established the United States of America as a Christian nation." -John McCain
When asked if America is a Christian nation, Palin responded, "It's mind -boggling to suggest otherwise."
