It seems more "dim" to me to wantonly use cups (or any other material) that are bad for the environment when there are perfectly acceptable cheap alternatives available.
A kindergardener will tell you that pollution is bad. Even most conservatives will tell you pollution is bad. Styrofoam causes pollution. Why would they not use a more ecological alternative? I thought these people were supposed to be leaders? It seems to me using styrofoam and causing ecological injury "because they can" is imbicllic.
