We have many radical forces in the united states and we can for intensive purposes say some good be bad or good. Some might even say tea party and unions are radical depending on who controls the media and or the government. Here is what I know if they are radical groups in any country that means you country is more then likely has unstable oppressive governments and needs to be addresses. If you think muslims are actually going to get Sharia LAW in the united states you are freaking as radical as them.

They have stated that they will use our own laws to achieve their goals.

Why do you not think they would/could do that? Under OUR Constitution, they potentially could obtain the freedom to practice THEIR religion without restrictions. They achieved Sharia law in other countries. Take a look at the UK.

Tony Blair supports Rep. King and the Congressional investigation. Why do you suppose that is?

The hearings are going to address the danger of US Muslims becoming targets of radicalization efforts. Unfortunately, the hearings are not going to address the underlying problem of WHY Muslims are susceptable to radicalization. The hearings need to focus on Islamic doctrine that is, itself, radical by Western 21st century standards. Only by looking at the tools the jihadists use can we hope to blunt their use. The hearings are a good first step but many of the people who should be testifying are not. Hopefully there will be followup action, both within congress and by other groups.

The issue and the problem isn't the fact that the hearings are taking place, but the fact that it is only focusing on one group.

Can you name any other groups who have attacked us in the last 10 years. Now remember, I said groups just as you did.

Ever since "the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor", we have only been attacked by one group that I know of, Terrorists.

LOL@ Muslim Congressional Hearings. Can't think of the last useful thing to come out of Congressional hearings. Big ass waste of time. But if that's what King wants to waste his time doing, oh well.
