King should have had a hearing on homegrown terrorism in general, then maybe the Muslims and their liberal apologists wouldn't get their panties in a twist.
As far as the hearings of homegrown terrorism in general, that is what many have been calling for since King first said that he would hold these hearings.

Because they are being held.

The "left?" What does that even mean in this context? The Democrats appear to have no problem being opposed all by themselves.

The guy was a nut job and committed a terrorist attack. Domestic Terrorism, is Domestic Terrorism, whether by Muslims, the right, the left, or anyone else. If we are going to investigate radicalization and domestic terrorism, we should be doing it across the board.

Where do the left and right get radicalized to commit acts of terrorism?

Why would the dems try to block that?

Do they really think muslims vote democrat?

Democrats plead with Rep. King to cancel hearing on US Muslims - TheHill.com

I honestly think that liberals are at the root of trying to circumvent authority and order.
Don't delude yourself. The investigation of terrorism is being done by the relevant authorities. This is just grandstanding to drum up fear and win votes.

Muslims will hate the United States if we have the hearings or not.

Makes no difference, so let's have these hearings and get to the root of what the problem is in the USA with homegrown extremism.

Back in the 90's the government had meetings/hearings and all sorts of things to focus on the militia movements in the US. This includes keeping close tabs on the wacko fundamentalist Christians who were fond of "compounds". Focusing on radical Islam (for now) isn't discriminatory - it's prudent and they are being treated like everyone else. I remember Christians crying foul when extreme fundamentalism was the hot topic too. If Islam is offended, then they can suck it up like Christians had too.

Well, for starters, it was discovered that there WERE Communists in and around our government when McCarthy had the hearings.

Investigate something that needs only a quick look back at the foreign policy and political meddling in the middle east over last 50-60 years?
