Wasn't that Nixon's line? Some of us are old enough to remember what a scum he was!

We grew angered and outraged watching pep rallies of mobs of special interest groups showing up with their tea bags in favor of Big Business over the working class in this country. The silent majority doesn't show up at the capital in numbers to show our support of protesters because we are pounding the pavement looking for the non-existent jobs that the Trickle Downers haven't bothered to create, or we're at our jobs, trying desperately to hold onto them before our corporate overlords decide to send them overseas. We will show up when it's time to vote, trust me.

Some of us would like to see the country run fiscally like we did when President Clinton balanced the budget and left a surplus for George W. Bush. We don't want to spend more than we take in, so we would have liked to have allowed the Bush tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans to expire when they were supposed to. When the books don't balance, we're willing to cut back on spending and work harder, but we're p***ed off that Republicans keep taking more and more and more away from us, while giving more and more and more to their corporate buddies. And when the cost of living goes up, we do go to our employers for a raise, because we need it in order to survive, since we work to earn that raise. If we have to put off building new military aircraft for another year, so be it. That's not what we see being done by the governors in Wisconsin, Michigan or Indiana.

There are two kinds of people in this country, the workers and the takers. I compare where our country is moving towards to a family where the parents with the bigger pocketbooks get ALL the votes and the 4 kids get none. Where we live, the notion that parents give their kids equal "votes" in how the family income is spent is fantasyland, and Republicans know this, yet they're trying to turn state governments into "families" so that mommy and daddy can run the "household". In the real world the parents go for bigger houses and fancier cars and the kids want to fill up their piggy banks.

Unfortunately it appears that in this country, the Republicans think they're our "parents" and treat us like their "children". We've got news for you; you couldn't be more wrong.

See you at the polls in 2012.

Cry me a river and enjoy your flatscreen.

Clinton robbed SS to balance his budget. Robbing Peter to pay Paul did us no good.
And some want that again ? Aren't we broke enough ? There are no more trust funds with surplus funds to rob anymore. We got Bernanke in the basement of the Fed printing up money and putting a fancy name on it (QE).

QEI..and then no more.
QEII..and then REALLY..no more
QEIII now in the works..but REALLY, REALLY no more.

And when we get close to our debt ceiling..we just raise it and go on spending like nothing is wrong.

“When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.”
Benjamin Franklin

As I said , THEY have the BRAINS to know that attacks on unions, which are comprised of average Americans, are attacks on ALL average Americans.

Feeling ENTITLED?

Someone forgot to tell the WI Dems that. They complained that Walker's tax breaks to incentivize corporations moving into WI and job growth weren't substantive enough.

Except the public employees are doing far better than merely 'surviving,' AND they're taking ALL of their union demanded salary and benefits increases DIRECTLY FROM the taxpayers who also have to struggle with those very same cost of living price increases.

You're right... up until now the UNIONS and PUBLIC EMPLOYEES have had ALL of the votes. NO MORE!!!! The taxpayers are taking back control of the purse strings before the greedy unions and public employees bankrupt us all.

THE GOVERNMENT IS BROKE!!!!!!!!
Why don't you just come out and say this because I know how most of the unions and communist organizers really work. Organized protesters from the left are run by the most extreme progressive liberals in the world. These are the same idiots you will see out on the streets on May 5 or MAYDAY!
What you want is a free lunch you expect government to be controlled by the same thinking ideas and no matter what the cost to the tax payer you DESERVE special treatment. Your solution to anything just as it always has been is to TAX, TAX and then when you think your happy you resort to borrowing and then TAX. TAX anything and everything to make sure you don't have to show any performance review, job security without cause, and keep the unions strong.
