You got it! There is the problem. Teachers somehow think their "salaried' positions mean they don't have to take work home with them.

I'd like to meet another non-union salaried employee who thinks the same.

You should stop confusing activism and indoctrinating, and using their students, to make their points for them.

What state do you live in when a teacher doesn't get paid for coaching a sports team? What school related events?

Never ever spend one more penny of YOUR money on any school supplies, if the state or parents don't take responsibility to see that classrooms have adequate supplies, why should you ?
Yep. Start paying some of your healthcare, or question why your supers make $200K...get some of that school supply money back.

Absolutely banish that...you really think teachers' "higher learning" isn't subsidized? Not to mention there is no proof that a teacher with a masters or a PhD can teach any better than someone with a BA in anything, real-world experience, and went through the "alternate route" program? If they couldn't, most states wouldn't allow them to. But they do.

Nah, just keep riding the free train, that the ignorant liberals live off of....and don't think should ever END.

Free benefits, free free free, except the poor homeowners who are loosing their homes foot the bill. Teachers dont believe they should pay their own pensions and health care because the children will suffer. like this makes sense

"I'm a crappy teacher but you can't fire me. I'm Union baby!!"

(I don't really have an issue with teachers. My issue is with public unions.

oooh, hitting nerves alll over the place with the "we are Facists , we hate educators" crowd...

An addition to the note for teachers:

Don't waste your time coaching those "can't learn/slow learners" in your class...they are the ones with republican/facist parents...it's hereditary...

Taxpayers of Wisconsin. You get what you pay for. Bullying teachers will just make the best ones leave for states that treat them better.

Congratulations on joining the race to the bottom.
