Not sure why you're stuck on $1 million. Read the article. The $1 million is cited as just an example of the economic development tax cuts the Dems complained weren't substantive enough.

Do you even know what "substantive" means?

And yes, the 14 Dem senators fled the state because those cowards couldn't face the economic fallout of the $3.6 billion budget deficit Dem Governor Doyle left Walker.

Not when you consider that dairy products are the leading agricultural products in the State of Wisconsin and play a major role in the overall economy of the state.

Walker won the battle. He'll end of losing the war and with it his political career. By the time everything is said and done he won't be able to get elected as a dog catcher in the State of Wisconsin.

Hopefully you're right about that but he'll probably end of as a tea party hero and go on tour with Sarah Palin flogging his book, "How I screwed the Unions for God and Country." Lot's of red, white and blue on the cover.

Grow up people!
Dumping perfectly good tea into harbors was also childish. Not to mention boorish.

I wonder if anybody here has any idea where much of their milk for cheese comes from. I promise you that you can stand on the highway that runs through my town (US 183) and watch about 40 milk trucks running north and as many going back south. The location of the dairies is North Texas. I'll bet none of you here know about that source of Wisconsin dairy products.

Default Walker, WI senators under recall threat

All you have to do is come up with 151 more $1 million "bipartisan" examples, then.

It means that $1 million isn't a substantive portion of $152 million.

The deficit that Walker immediately enlarged by $152 million, then blamed teachers for.

Here's something that Walker can expect substantive bipartisan support for.

Former Wisconsin congressman Dave Obey on MSNBC on Monday predicted Gov. Scott Walker would fall to recall.
"With someone with the power of the governor oversteps that line as much as he has, and when he becomes so abusive of the dignity of workers, when he becomes so abusive of their basic rights to defend themselves in the economic arena, then you're left with very little choice," Obey says.

My milk comes from a dairy in Longmont, Colorado. However, I don't know where my other dairy products come from. Kraft Foods has a big factory in Champaign, Il. Don't know where they get their milk. It's a long way from WI to Champaign, 250 miles or so.

Sorry to go off topic.

Grass Roots: Walker, senator recall drives burning up cyberspace
Did you read far enough in your link to find out that on Tuesday of last week that one bunch was just over 350 thousand signatures short of enough to force a recall of Walker? Did you read far enough to see that none of them were trying to really argue what has happened, like that most of your number is for tax credits and for more than just one year? Also, did you see the mention of the fact that one group that wants to recall the Democrat Senators is from Utah. Probably about as grass roots as most of the local ones, I bet.
