The Wisconsin 14 heroes are speaking now on the live feed, an amazing statement just made: "We lit the candle, but the people carried the torch of freedom"

The taxpayers WORK for a living. We can see quite clearly that the union members don't.

And the farmers, cows and pigs all shed a tear for another revenue stream lost.

Somebody should tell the union leeches that they're yesterday's news. No one is paying any attention to them anymore. The news coverage is all on the Japanese earthquake/tsunami and the nuclear reactor breaches.

People are already sick of the overly-indulged union crybabies.

As a forum member stated earlier please stay on topic. The topic at hand is the NON-UNION farmers who are rallying against Walker and the radical republicans attack on the people.

Yep, the state health program cuts that Dem Gov. DOYLE told Walker would be necessary to deal with the $3.6 billion budget deficit Doyle left Walker. The farmers should drive those tractors over to DOYLE'S house. He set the cuts in motion through massive waste and mismanagement.
Quote:
Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle's administration on Friday told Republican Governor-elect Scott Walker that he would have to cope with a $2.2 billion deficit in the state's upcoming two-year budget, but this brighter-than-expected forecast contained more than $1 billion in hidden pain.
To arrive at the favorable estimate, the Doyle administration's estimate assumed that Walker and lawmakers would make spending cuts that have yet to actually happen - two more years of state employee furloughs, no pay raises, a virtual hiring freeze and belt tightening in state health programs. Without that $1.1 billion in savings, the state's projected shortfall rises to $3.3 billion - a significant increase over previous estimates that put the gap at between $2.7 billion and $3.1 billion.

But the tractorcade was organized by Family Farm Defenders and the Wisconsin Farmers UNION.

Oh for pete's sake. You are WAY behind the curve on this.

The WI Dems complained that those tax breaks were only symbolic and not substantive.

Even though the tax cut bill he signed Monday and other agenda have garnered bipartisan support, Democratic critics say much of what Walker is doing is more symbolic than substantive.
For example, only $1 million in tax breaks is expected to be distributed to qualifying businesses that relocate to Wisconsin under the bill Walker signed Monday. Another tax cut Walker is backing that's tied to every new job created would come with a tax benefit of only between $90 and $315 per job.

The WI Democrats thought Walker should have granted even more tax breaks to attract businesses to WI and promote job growth. Imagine that, the WI Dems wanted the corporations' tax breaks to be bigger.

It is SO easy to debunk your ridiculous claims. Get a brain, seek out the actual facts, and start thinking for yourself instead of parroting the talking points you've been spoonfed. Aren't you embarrassed that you're so easily manipulated?

If I had a dime for every teacher I met who farms on the side... When you come down on public employees you have a negative impact on a wide range of the American population who are also teachers, Farmers, Artist, Struggling Parents, Senior Citizens , Young People , Women, Minorities, Physically Challenged, and people who have small business on the side
Its a catch 22 for your budget, there are so many of them you get a lot of bang for your buck with one stroke but on the other hand you get a wide range of people who won't vote for you anymore.
