Rasmussen polls likely US voters. Maybe that's why they have a good track record for accuracy on Election Day. Take a look at who some of the other pollsters poll, like Gallup for example, who polls any adult who answers the phone, whether or not they are registered voters, likely voters, illegal aliens or criminals that can't vote, making their results lousy for forecasting Election results. Ask The President and Congress if they would rather know what likely voters think or what the general public thinks.

That doesn't say much. I could poll likely US voters by picking a lot of brain dead folks off the streets.

what the hell is a 'benefit' ?

is being protected by an F-35 Lightning II while you sleep at night, considered a 'benefit' , or not?

how about somebody's home value being lifted by GSE's and quantitative easing? Is that a benefit or a cost? To whom, and how much? How do we calculate that?

would disagree with what? the vague question you just asked, to which i have not yet provided an answer?

How do you figure that someone would disagree with an answer that I haven't yet given, to a question which wasn't clear in the first place?

Its clearly a cost and a devaluing of the currency.. No benefit there either, but whats this have to do with your posting or the topic? Is this you swaying into lala land because you dont know that federal spending has DOUBLED? WHERE IS IT GOING le roi? Do we really get DOUBLE the amount of services or "benefit" that we did 10 years ago?

Silly me.. I went to public school, but I thought question marks meant you were asking questions..

I'm 100% for shutting down the government, until you can tell me what doubling of services we receive for spending twice what we did...

Did you consider current dollars, or constant dollars? Or, do you believe that makes NO difference? How about the growth in the economy for consideration as well, as well an economy thrown down a cliff?
