I'm not CLAIMING to have a say in it.
I'm merely an OBSERVER.
Why are YOU here?
The good folks of Wisconsin (including my cousin & his family) will decide the issue.

Absolutely 100% correct!

I support you in your efforts as long as Wisconsin voters don't come to me through Washington begging for money if the whole house of cards come tumbling down. If Wisconsin voters want to double or triple taxes that is their choice.

Or they can issue IOUs like California did.
Either way..it's state business, not national business so let them do what they want.

None of the public pension programs across the country are 'just fine.'

And when it becomes painfully clear that WI's isn't, have the teachers agreed to give up their pensions? Or is the plan to screw the taxpayers?

Let me clue you in you. Wisconsin has a yearly budget of 15 Billion per year....They have a budget deficit now thanks to Walker's 140mil in tax cuts of roughly 280 Million.

280 mil divided by 15000 mil is 1.8%

Taxes can be raised 1.8% to close the deficit.

Not double, or triple, you hysterical poor thing....LOL

None of the above.

They already agreed to increase their contributions to the fund. Just like the Governor asked them to.

Seems you need a clue. Dem DOYLE left Walker a HUGE budget deficit:
Quote:
Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle's administration on Friday told Republican Governor-elect Scott Walker that he would have to cope with a $2.2 billion deficit in the state's upcoming two-year budget, but this brighter-than-expected forecast contained more than $1 billion in hidden pain.
To arrive at the favorable estimate, the Doyle administration's estimate assumed that Walker and lawmakers would make spending cuts that have yet to actually happen - two more years of state employee furloughs, no pay raises, a virtual hiring freeze and belt tightening in state health programs. Without that $1.1 billion in savings, the state's projected shortfall rises to $3.3 billion - a significant increase over previous estimates that put the gap at between $2.7 billion and $3.1 billion.
Report on Wisconsin

The actual deficit is a little higher than Doyle's estimate at $3.6 billion.

So how do you feel about the GOP effort to recall Democrat Wisconsin representatives - You know, the one that's headquartered in Utah?
STILL feel it's the business of Wisconsin voters & no one else?
Or is it different when it folks from YOUR side running the recall effort from another state?

Ken

You're admitting the Dems have no plan. That's quite incompetent. No wonder Doyle left WI a $3.6 billion budget deficit.
