He needs to earn the respect of the people. Maybe he could work on that between golfing, vacationing and partying.
George W has him beat with his vacations as with every other president. George will probably always be #1 with vacations.

Good. I hope the perception is true. I want him to fail on the issue.

We need no go further, this man failed as President.
Man oh Manischewitz you are one harsh hombre. I'm glad you aren't grading me. Just so you know though, when the blame game really starts in earnest... after the default that is, and the walking wounded survivors of The Fall are looking for heads to roll, Obama will not be a prime candidate for tribunal. Prosecutors will not easily be able to overlook the trillions of dollars of preventable debt that were racked up by the Bush administration and instead focus on well meant policies to stimulate a moribund economy. That kind of obfuscation only works on P&OC where the right wing agenda holds court daily spouting baseless rhetoric as if they were debating with developmentally disabled opponents.

Republicans made some major gains after the mid-term elections and, barely a quarter into their new terms they are losing base at an alarming rate. The Tea Party is in shambles but still the hard core of the right soldiers on gamely trying to win converts with emotional proselytizing about the evils of spending. It is said that the proof is in the pudding... I give true austerity four months before it crashes and burns like the failed response to Bush era excess that it is.

President Obama's ratings are still higher than Ronald Reagan's were at this point in his presdiency and the Republicans now worship Ronnie as if he was a canonized saint.

Read the link. Then maybe you can see that you are comparing apples to oranges. You are using the polls that some take about once a month and trying to compare them to the -22 that Obama was today. It just can't be done they way you libs want to do it. You do need to read the link i posted to see what it is all about.

You are so right, Lamar, but the saddest thing about all this is that no matter how many times I post the Rasmussen numbers and try to tell the libs that they need to read the link they ignore it and try to argue their Obama - Reagan crap from polls that aren't anything like this one. They just get wound out and let 'er rip.
