Here is the most recent daily poll number from Rasmussen for our Glorious Leader. He has just gone under his numbers from September and, I think he may set a real record tomorrow. Wheeeeeeeeee

There have been a number of Carter/Obama comparisons lately. One I haven't seen is the comparison that will be made post Obama. I mean... after Carter was run out on a rail and Cowboy Ronnie took the reins America's richest did very well indeed, as per usual under a Republican rudder. However, it could be argued that the middle and working classes did worse and some astonishing (for the time) unemployment numbers went up on the boards... just saying... be careful what you wish for.

I think there are a lot of good Republican candidates that can take the reigns of power after Obama and help to rebuild the country. None of them are as good as Reagan but that's to be expected. Someone like the great one only comes along once in a couple hundred years.

One reason why there are so many Republicans considering getting in the campaign is because Obama's numbers are so weak. Pretty much once one of them wraps up the Republican nomination then he's as good as in the White House.

I also think Obama will face a challenger from his own party. Perhaps Hillary will make another try at it or someone else that;s a favority of the lunitic left. Either way, it will work to weaken Obama even further.

What I'm seeing is that people who disapprove of President Obama's performance actually hate the man. However, his overall numbers remain roughly in line with where he's been for almost a year, in a general 45-50 range. This daily poll shows him at 43, but it could just as easily be a one day blip and not indicative of any trend.

What makes you think Obama will face a primary challenge? Is there any serious potential candidate in the Democratic Party that's been doing any of the preliminary work necessary to run a national campaign? Try to separate what you hope will happen from what you think will happen. If you think something will happen, you should at least have some evidential basis.

wondering if Bammers failure to show any leadership on Lybia and his disappearance on budget matters is hurting him?

He fully intends to force the republicans to shut down the government so he can get praise for hating them like Clinton did.

Republicans dont seem to be playing that game.

He's just been quiet lately, letting Republicans dig their own graves. When (not if) a budget deal is made, his numbers will go right back up.

Besides, Rassmusen is a biased poll if there ever was one.

you could not be more wrong. Bammers disapproval rating hinges on the economy. People do not see any serious improvement.

on top of that, there are some issues like Lybia where he is not precieved as leading.

because of the economy, everything else is an excuse to dislike him. (This is called politics not personal hatred)

If the economy improves, his approval ratings will go up to at lest 50% regardless of the rest.

however, if we get to a point 1 year from election and his approval is below 45% the democrats will mount a challenge.

If he is not to 50% by the election he will lose. even if Palin runs.

Thank goodness for the leadership failure on Libya. Let someone else take the damn lead. We need more leadership failures like this one when it comes to interfering in the matters of other nations.
