I agree it does nothing for our countries reputation that this guy is at the helm.
Considering how our country's reputation suffered under George W. Bush Jr. I'll take the current world opinion of America now over that of the Bush 43 era any day of the week.
They do a lot of hand waving and bleating about the "race card."
But like I said, I've known too many people that fit the bill.
Because I am white, Southern and upper middle class, right wing loonies will often assume I agree with them and will spout their nonsense in my presence.
I just keep my mouth shut and let them ramble on. If I nod and smile enough, they will eventually expose their underlying nature, and not long after that, the N word usually surfaces.
However they may claim to the contrary, there really is a racist element in some of the anti-Obama hysteria out there.
I believed you until you uttered this crap. I call major BS. I, too, am from the South and I rarely ever hear the word. And you can be sure that my surroundings are very conservative, if not more conservative than that place in Florida that you call the "south".

You're full of ****, and i'm calling you on it.
Total and absolute FAIL. Try again.
Then I think you are living in some alternate Universe, your own Private Idaho.
In fact, I'm SURE of it.
As for that place in Florida I call the South, I think perhaps you may have Tallahassee confused with Miami.
Among a great many other things you seem confused about...
I know many people, Black, White, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Republicans, Democrats, and everything in between….some voted for Obama and some did not, however, those that did vote for Obama would not do it again, his “change” was not what he ran on for president.
We can watch all the polls we want and even complain on here all we want, if you have not seen it, more and more dislike his policies (not him or his color). And I’m sure everyone on here knows that people really do not start paying attention to an election until the last few months, so, when November 2012 rolls around, more people are going to show up and vote than ever before, and Obama will be out.
I honestly believe that Obama would not be villified the way he is if he were white.
You can have a reasoned debate on that issue, if you would only be honest.
I've scratched too many Obama haters and found a racist underneath to believe otherwise.
you keep telling yourself that.
