It would appear that Obama has another $1.11 cents to play with before he raises the price gas above what it was in the good old days.

Gas didn't cost anywhere near .97 a gallon in 1972 anywhere in the continental US. Remember, you're not the only old-timer here.

In 1972 it was around .35 and still well under a dollar well into 1976

Edit: Sorry - hadn't seen your retraction when I posted.

I thought that you would blame Bush My SUV never got good gas mileage, and while I don't blame Obama for that, I do blame him for being a loser, and not letting us become independant.

Take your own advice. We know that he doesn't set the price, but he is the one saying that he is cool with it. No, it's not the first time gas has been high, but I for one hope that by the time voting comes around again, and it's even higher, he will not be re-elected. So I'm good with that.

$3? More like $4.

He is not saying he is kool with it, making false statements does nothing to further your credibility here. You better find a candidate thatpeople could vote for,at the moment there s no such person floating to the top of the right-wing pool.

"Obama: The $4/Gallon President"

If your memory went further back than two weeks you'd know that we had $4 gas before.
The big increases happened AFTER Tea Party favorites took up the offices to which they were elected in November, 2010. Strange, isn't it?
