With them in it.

They have the right to assemble, and be rather nasty, and do whatever else as long as they aren't hurting anyone. I think that they really toe that line, though, when they try to picket military funerals, and such- but unfortunately, they have great lawyers.

While I would be rather amused if they all died in a fire in that 'church' of theirs, that'd be giving them exactly what they want- any survivors would dub themselves persecuted and would call the dead members martyrs.. and that might help them get a few more of the loonies to join.

Listen I imagine that some of them will be in fire pretty darn soon when they meet their maker . You know Im sure God has something really special planned for them . Like my grandma used to say there is a special place in hell for some people . I would say that the westboro baptist church classifies as that most definately .

So if I disagree with someone I should be able to kill them and get away with it? Or just the people that you also disagree with? Interesting.....

People like that are the price the rest of us pay for our own freedom of speech.

Nobody's forcing you to read/listen to their disgusting rhetoric, but they have the right to express their opinions.

They are the most vile people I have ever met. They are disgusting, Fred Phelps is slim. They provide no value to society or life. They offer NVA...no value added. If a sink hole opened in Topeka and swallowed them I would not shed a tear but I suspect the sinkhole would have heartburn.

How can the congregants of that church call themselves Christians and sleep at night?

(Yes, I do realize that are none of us perfect)

Thats not 100% true. The issue is that if you are burying your child that died in the war, you are being forced to hear their protest

I feel that it's all an elaborate trick that somebody out there is playing on us designed to elicit responses like these:

They do have the right to protest, and I will support that until the day I die. But I also have the right to say that I hope that they reap what they sow.

It's an elaborate parody, even worse than the recent Joaquin Phoenix one that was documented in that "I'm Still Here."

These people are classic performance artists and I would not be surprised if there's an ulterior motive here like using them to restrict the freedoms of the general public.
