Not even remotely close to GWB chopping wood at his ranch. Perhaps you forgot about the middle east imploding compounded by a devastaing earthquake and tsunami in a powerful nation that has helped up through our financial crisis.

So do you want him to hold an online candle vigil every night saying prayers? Obama bashing has becoming so over-glorified that people like you will seriously attack him for anything. Go out and have a beer man, it's not the end of the world.

True, the events in Japan and the ME are nothing like 9/11.

Why do you think it's a good thing for him to announce his choices on national television? I don't know anyone who would care and I don't know how it would help anybody. He can do all of the other stuff you mentioned. And yes, we need a leader now who can help us in a major crisis situation.

Let's not forget he commented on the NFL: Lockout situation last week which was something he didn't need to discuss publicly.

So just how much time out of his busy day was taken up with picking his teams and appearing on TV to talk about it? Did it keep him from "doing something" about the world situation?

If there was ever a time to kill the messenger, this is the time. The reason why the President's final 4 bracket is news is because the "news" deems it to be.
