"Lying" about his last name or religion is barely a crime.
...he lived with his grandparents, who raised him up as a Christian. And he attended a predominantly attended by Christians and Catholics (despite it being non-denominational), private school (Punahou).
so you weigh his "four" years of being in a muslim country (in a school that didn't push muslim faith), far more than the 8 years of living in Hawaii in a christian setting (with friends of the same belief)?
No excuse for patterns of lying for expediency. This is the family he grew up in. By the way, his grandparents rejected Christianity and became Unitarians. That may be why Obama is considered OK by Muslims.

Good point, I too like to judge people based on lies their parents may have told others when they were children.
that's getting OT now -- It has nothing to do with the Founding Fathers. Whether they were or not is discussed in another thread.
The poster was claiming that Obama was raised in a Christian home. I merely corrected that.
You cannot go on the Founding Fathers threads claiming they were Christian even though many belonged to Unitarian churches, and then come on to this thread claiming that since the home Obama was raised in attended a Unitarian church, that Obama cannot be a Christian.
I'm not arguing the assertion that Obama was raised in a Unitarian home, I'm pointing out the inconsistency of the conservative argument, that on the one hand Unitarians are Christians (when the Founding Fathers are discussed), and on the other hand Unitarians are not Christians (when Obama is discussed). That kind of inconsistency reveals that neither logic nor truth is being applied, but a political agenda is rearing its woeful head.
What has been produced is a verified and certified LEGAL birth certificate that meets all U.S requirements. Its not my fault or Obama's fault or the fault of anyone else that you do not know a damn thing about the law or legal documents.
Sure, and that is why their is soooo much smoke, because there is absolutley no fire.
Myt understanding, from reading on a website about this issue, is that the COLB can be petitioned for and received on the strength or an application and vouching by two relatives. That is all it takes to get one.
That is what the article said. Whether that is true, or still true, or completely false, I can't say, but it was discussed.
However a document, not original, and produced upon demand in 2007 is slim evidence.
Reasonable people can disagree on the validity of those insisting on a standard Birth Certificate issues at or near the time of birther, but one that is force certain - that Obama is destroing our country step by step. Those that support him are co-conspirators in political "treason".
Birthers are nothing but bloody trolls and us sensible people should know better
than to feed them....that's all.
