i knew it was too good to be true. a president resisting the opportunity to commit an act of war. anyway, Obama's issued the ultimatum, it's only a matter of weeks before we're doing in libya what we've been doing in iraq and afghanistan for years.

i'm very sad today

I'm very disappointed too. More bullets, bombs and banker profits.

He said that "US values and credibility are at stake".
No they are not but this is the excuse to go to war

Isn't this what all of the fuss was about last week? There were numerous threads started by the usual suspects last week complaining that Obama hasn't step up to the plate. Now look, maybe instead of Obama keeping his mouth shut and staying out of it, the usual Anti crowds should have piped down instead.

I said last week, Congress will NEVER touch the Military budget, and was I ever right.

I thought he started acting like a megalo in his election day victory speech.

I think the action is fine, just should have started before all the slaughtering killed so many tens of thousands.
I think the rest of the country is ready to do it's thing. Libya was always a patchwork of warlords before the tyrant took over.

Is this supposed to be an excuse for us to wage war on another sovereign nation?

The US is a beggar acting like a millionaire. Where are we going to get the money for this? Borrow more from China?

Let's face facts. We can't afford to act like a big shot when we are neck deep in debt. God, the sinking sound just gets louder.

Someone should have sent him golfing somewhere with no communications.

When did Obama turn into such a war-monger AND why don't Republicans LOVE him for that?

I am sickened to the core. I hope students will take to the streets in protest!
