Do you see American women(lay people) working in ammunition plants or a shortage of men on the street between 18 and 35 like they did in the 1940s?

Actually by 1938 the US was coming out of the depression. We didn't join WW2 until 1941.
And as far as the "elite" go, they don't want what is best for the average person.
