Obama is only smart because he has a {D} next to his name

Once you've gained enough experience in this, you can make a fairly good estimate.
Last I heard, we still haven't seen his college record. There might be a good reason for this.

I am consistent. I wouldn't spend on attacking Libya, I would cut NPR, and I would cut every social program from A to Z.

Good, consistency is important. Even when we cut those we use.... SS, Medicare, VA benefits, backers of federal loans for mortgages, farm subsidies, mortgage deductions, breaks on taxes. Im sure you were for the expiration of the tax credits too.

I agree with the one poster that Hitler should have read his book , but glad he didn't. The point about multiple fronts be it in Europe or the rest of the world is spreading ones resources too thin. Right now we have military aid in Japan, we have 3 war zones, and we have bases in what 100 other countries... What happens if something serious happens?

We saw the result of a few planes to our economy. what would happen if a nuke went off in a major US city? Or N Korea launched a nuke war? An Earthquake has crippled Japans economy do you think these events would treat us to less?

I agree the fronts we have are relatively minor events, barely above Granada, except in the economic toll they are having. We are almost consuming or GDP in our debt. it is like 99% now. We are in serious shape.

My point was not to compare NPR to a war but the insignificance of 10M in the scheme of our budget and that if we waste our time counting and looking for 10 million we will miss the big picture.

As an investment NPR is pretty tame, one of the few things we spend that are not hostile and do a decent job.

I just got a CNN post that the residence of Momar was heavily bombed... guess they aren';t just targeting the anti air defenses like they said... Have we been lied to again? I'm think Mr Farrakhan comments are very accurate.

The French quite specifically stated what the mission was and who was the target.
The US..well we waffled yet we are fighting right next to them.

You figure out who's not telling the whole story here.

Tea Partiers only want to cut safety nets and welfare for the poor at the very bottom of society who can't fight back. They're totally okay with spending hundreds of billions of dollars for invading sovereign nations, though.

Re-read the post directly above yours... you're wrong on this one.

Giving an IQ test does not give you any more credibility in gauging people's intelligence than the guy at blockbuster ringing up the episode of house gives you credibility in discussing medical matters.
Sorry!
