Definitely not a monopoly. I hope that this ends up benefitting both T-Mobile and AT&T customers. It will at least stop the annoying T-Mobile fuzzy guy commercials!

I've been an AT&T customer for 8 years and I've never had anything less than outstanding customer service, whether it be on the internet or in person. Dropped calls are very, very, very seldom an issue.

they just bought Altell here and I cant even find a live person to talk to as my phone will be usless by the end of march. what a joke the Altell shop here just shrugged and could not help me at all.waiting just waiting, my mortgage was sold,my liability ins was sold,my phone co was sold, my internet was sold, everything is for sale to big business

Because there would be no competition between providers for customers who prefer that standard. It would also likely force a consolidation towards a unified platform and knock out phone manufacturers who work with different standards and more regional carriers.

you get customer service, really. Altelltold me to call 877 930 9015 and I talked to robots for an hour you cant get a human AT&T is a joke
