My daughter doesn't dress slutty, because she has self-respect.

I would just love for kids to be kids a bit longer.

I would hope parents would help teach children respect for themselves and their elders.

My wife has a 12 year old sister. We have a two year old and we let her younger sister see all the work we have with the baby.
Seeing that reality helped my wife's sister realize she really wants NONE of that at an early age.
My wife has an 8 year old brother as well. What a range let me tell you! :-)

What they think at 12 doesn't have much impact on what they do at 15!

Ive got 5 sisters with daughters, but Ive never been a parent. But from working many years around young adults and having so many neices and nephews, my opinion has become that my generation seems to be so busy promoting the 'human body is a beautiful and nothing to be ashamed of' philosophy, that we have decide to skip teaching such things like morals and self-respect, which are equally beautiful things. Its really uncool to be regarded as unsexy nowdays. Sex appeal has become more important than genuine love.

I didn't see anything wrong or "slutty" in the picture of the article...what's wrong with T-shirts and tank tops? They look like normal teenaged girls to me...there's not even cleavage going on.

It's the tops and pants that have words like "hottie", "sexy", etc., placed...um...strategically...over certain anatomical locations that I wouldn't want my daughter wearing if I had one...I think that's just pretty distatseful, even on a grown woman...ever notice how so many of the women who wear that sort of thing are the usually furthest thing from "hot" or "sexy", though? Kind of like the fake testicles guys hang on their vehicles...whenever I see that I immediately think "Poor thing, he must have a small package!" LMAO!

When they are young and horny, dressing like adult and horny is dangerous IMO.

Hot stuff!
I've got one or two like that myself.
