Residents of an affluent central Californian town are outraged by thieves who stole an 11-foot cross from a church and set it afire near the home of a mixed-race family.
The wooden cross was apparently stolen between early February and early March from Saint John's Lutheran Church in Arroyo Grande.
Wait a minute, I thought California was heaven on Earth and had none of the problems that the flyover states had. There must be a mistake here.
No one with any common sense ever thought that. Every state has the exact same set of problems that every other state has. Certain states may have a larger cross section of idiots than others....but that's another thread.

Uh...no thanks. Every states' citizens think their state is better than everyone elses. I'm sure that the Californians are no more arrogant than the Texans i know.
So....wait a sec. I'm assuming everyone probably thinks it's some white racists, right? They were a mixed couple though...right?
I mean, we see muslims doing jihad daily on the news...but we keep getting told they're just a small minority of an otherwise peaceful religion, and we can't assume all muslims are violent. Why are we assuming it was a bunch of white redneck idiots?
(Yes, I'm saying this tongue-in-cheek....I realize it was likely some idiot white trash rednecks).
