I am glad she had a gun and I am glad she shot him dead..........however......why would anyone open their front door to a stranger who knocks at 3:00 am.......or at anytime of day, for that matter?

It was a home invasion (a.k.a. forced entry).

Totally agree. Comments like that azzhat made to the paper set them up to be targeted again. I bet he thinks is fecal matter doesn't stink either.

So basically you have a rock. I deleted the rest of your comment in your response because you make all firearms owners look bad by posting really stupid comments like that. It only gives the anti-gunners fodder.

A minor detail, but just wondering; Smith & Wesson, Taurus, and Charter Arms all make pink .38s, which did the young lady have, and what kind of loads did she have? The thug took four hits before he quit for keeps, so have to wonder. Those of us that are into guns and strongly support the 2nd amendment think about things like this. Good thing that she lived in a state that still recognizes the right of its citizens to defend themselves. Had she been in California or New York or another far left state she might have been arrested.

Here is what the article said:

"Hill barged into the home at around 3 a.m. after Brown responded to a knock at the front door, according to a police report."

Now, to me, that sounds like she answered/opened the door and when she did he forced himself into the home. It doesn't say he broke down the door.

My guess is S&W. These people have money, and of those three, S&W has the best reputation and is also the most expensive.

Not necessarily - she shot him four times, but for all we know, the first shot was fatal.

Some help the boyfriend was....if not for that gun, they would both be dead!!

Guns are not evil......it's people that are evil. She used that gun the RIGHT WAY!
She used it the right way... doesn't change the fact that her boyfriend seems to be a world class douche. But there's one less criminal sharing the world with the rest of us and it's hard to complain about that!

To me, the word force indicates that she didnt open the door...
ETA: I looked for a better source than Fox, here is what I found, I stand corrected.

She may have at least cracked the door...he didn't force his way in from the start until she went to the door. She did SOMETHING to allow him to force his way in.
