First it was the Arab League that pulled its support for the no-fly zone (no surprise there). Now we learn that Germany is pulling out of the coalition and removing its assets from the theater of operations. Meanwhile France and great Britain squabble about who's in charge. And the U.S. meekly stands by. This whole operation was a disaster from the start. Looks like amateur hour on the world stage. A stronger president would not have proceeded in this manner. Obama demonstrates once again that he is not ready for prime time.

Really? Just WHAT would a 'stronger' president have done?
My choice would be immediately start with the expulsion of the UN from NYC as it continues to demonstrate its ineffectiveness.

Well, if I was president I would have stated it isn't our
damn business, and preceded to try to balance my own
country's budget, pay off the deficit, and instill a climate
for job growth in my own country.
Remember, sometimes being strong, doesn't mean military - it means being smart and prioritizing
“This command-and-control business is complicated, and we haven’t done something like this kind of on-the-fly before,” U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates told reporters in Moscow today. “It’s not surprising to me that it would take a few days to get it all sorted out.”
We should have minded our own business to begin with and let the UN call the shots. Us calling the shots then laying low to let our minions try to deal with it was a foolish move. No one in our government seems to have any confidence in anything these days. Both President and Congress.
A stronger president would have defined the mission and lead the coalition.
Is there a President to the UN? BTW, when did Germany join the coalition? I thought it was one of the nations that stayed out of it (along with China, Russia, Brazil and India).
Germany was not part of the coalition to begin with.
Yup and that is where Germany is smart. They never get involved, don't blame them. They did the same with Iraq.
