For those who continue to equate Fox News' viewership numbers with evidence of quality, I guess this means that you now acknowledge that CNN is THE quality network for cable news.

"CNN has been the big ratings gainer among the cable news networks during the extensive coverage of events in Japan and Libya in the last two weeks . . . CNN has attracted huge audiences with continuing coverage of the international crises, beating even Fox News, the perennial leader among the news channels."

CNN has always been top (of the US broadcasters) on true 24 hour news events. War, disaster and other true crises.

That being said, I still would rather watch the BBC or CBC then any of the US cable channels.

Fox News is number one 99% of the time. Their is a large percentage of Americans who don't want liberal news.

Unlike CNN, MSNBC and CBS, Fox News is against the beating and gang rape of their reporters.

CBS has sent another cute blondy out to "interview" the Arab Muslim Libyan men. Brilliant.

It's the non-news shows that has given them that spot.
