Here in Baltimore and nearby in DC too, "Gentrification" has pushed a lot of ghetto people out into the inner suburbs. This is pushing suburbanites further out into the country. This is why people in the Baltimore area oppose public transportation, even bus lines, as it makes it possible and easier for ghetto people to move into previously tranquil communities and destroy them with their drugs, gangs, and crime. And this also makes it easier for illegal immigrants to survive too.
I have no problem with regular black or Hispanic people but do not want to raise my family around ghetto people or illegal immigrants and would prefer not to have to interact with these two groups/subcultures. Just in this area, most of the ghetto people pushed out of downtown happen to be black. There are some white ghetto people too by the way around these parts and I also would rather not be around them either.
