Maybe obama can tear himself away from the dance parties in Rio and focus on losing the ME on his watch.

With Yemen crumbling, US sees fragile counterterrorism ally fading, and few good options ahead - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/with_yemen_crumbling_us_sees_fragile_counterterror ism_ally_fading_and_few_good_options_ahead/2011/03/22/ABMQM1AB_story.html?wprss=rss_politics - broken link)

Of all the uprisings and protests that have swept the Middle East this year, none is more likely than Yemen to have immediate damaging effects on U.S. counterterrorism efforts. Yemen is home to al-Qaida’s most active franchise, and as President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s government crumbles, so does Washington’s influence there.
This would be a disaster.

Maybe we can bomb them so that democracy emerges.
Oh wait, we did that there already.

I'm ok with what Obama is doing in Rio, he really needs some dance lessons from what I've seen.

Yemen's leader offered to step down next year, source says - CNN.com

"Some government officials and others have declared their support for the opposition in the wake of a government crackdown on protesters that left 52 people dead last week."

Let me see if I can get this straight. We are bombing Libya, because of "humanitarian reasons." Because Qadffi has killed his own people. Yeah, ok. Well, Yemen, killed 52 of its own people last week and more to come. However, we aren't bombing them?

Oh wait, I get it, Yemen is an ally and Libya isn't. So it is ok to bomb, kill, and destroy non allies for no damn good reason at all, except to fit someone's political agenda.
