Thing is,the USA will do most of the work.
Also from what I heard, decisions by NATo must be b consensus, all member nations must agree.
This means that Turkey will most likely decide a lot in the future.

The US will contribute what they are willing to, just as all members will. No member will be compelled to use forces in missions they do not want to. There will also be Coalition members involved, not just NATO. You can assume the US will do most of the work, but I think waiting to see would be a wiser way to think about this rather than making a simple assumption. I suspect your primary objection to this is seeing a President willing to exert force, while not resulting in massive American lives lost. It can't be a "real" war otherwise, huh?

The USA has done most of the bombing under the current coalition, the USA did most of the fighting in Gulf War 1,the USA did most of the fighting in Kosovo....I am sure this time it will be other nations doing the work.
My problem is being involved in another nation's internal affairs, that is,a civil war.
You seem to not mind interfering in other nations affairs.
It is interesting that the Supreme Commander of NATO is always a US General or Admiral....LOL

The transition to sharing missions is moving quite well. Today's briefing by the Pentagon, said 75% of flights that were strikes, were by Coalition partners, not the USA. But hey, who needs facts when you can make up your own?

Biggest problem with public opinion on US in Libya is, the Dems are generally anti war and the Repubs are anti Obama.

Define "burden". During the aerial bombardment leading up to ground forces entering Kosovo, by far most sorties were flown by US aircraft - although the Canadians dropped a not-negligible 10% of the ordinance. Other NATO air forces showed up, and some took the opportunity to complain about the USAF not letting them purchase the PGM they needed - which happened to be true. (For an op like this, you obviously want to minimize civilian casualties, so guided munitions are a necessity.)
Finding numbers for the first KFOR contingent is hard and details vary a bit, but all I've been able to locate agree on mostly UK (about 7000), followed by US (2000), German (1700), French (1500) and Italian (1100), with Canadian, Greek and Dutch in the hundreds. Plus a bunch of Russians who were nothing but trouble.

Today, all strikes were flown by non US aircraft.
