This is for those you who lean left, what's deal with the Koch Brothers? I see a lot of people here attacking them for funding different groups such as the Tea Party or Americans for Progress...

Why are you against that? Should those guys not be allowed to spend their money as they want to? Do you specifically dislike them being able to spend money or are you just against anyone spending large amounts of personal money on political agendas?

I guess what I'm getting at is do you dislike them because they're using their money to promote an agenda you don't agree with/hate OR do you dislike them just like any other millionaire/billionaire who uses their great personal wealth to sway politics?

I dislike them because they're another sign of the corporate takeover of American politics.

So do you equally dislike anyone from the corporate world using their great wealth to influence politics or promote a personal agenda or is this just a dislike of the Koch Brothers?

as to liking or disliking...don't know them, never met them....but they sure have the right to spend they're money anyway they see fit.....i'm always amused by the hard left's default position...that anyone who has made themselves a financial success, by nature is a not a good person....they MUST have made that money on someone elses hard work and sweat...which makes them inherently evil...no discussion!!

Corporate cronies who help twist government policies for the profit of massive, extremely corrupt corporations and against the lower middle class and the less fortunate... not to mention promoting vitriolic, hateful, bigoted right-wing groups like the teabaggers.

This is a great question. For liberals, they see any corporate entity or wealthy individual as evil. However, other large groups, such as unions, or even just liberal rich people, are a-okay in their book. Makes no sense to me. I'm still trying to figure out what the deal is with the Koch brothers, I'm starting to think it's some kind of conspiracy theory, b/c I've seen them do nothing wrong or even questionable.

And the flip side:

Union cronies who help twist gov't policies for the profit of extremely corrupt union bosses and Democrat politicians and against everybody else in society, including the middle class...not to mention promoting vitriolic, hateful, bigoted left-wing groups like the progressives, communists and socialists.

When your own family disowns you, there's a very good chance you're guilty of heinous things. And they are.

Money is power, my friend.

The ones in power will always vote in their own self-interest.
