Ladies and gentlemen I drafted an outline of what I think the constitutional limatations are on the president in the war clause. I went to 5 leading constitutional scholars and they drafted a treatise for me that is being distributed to every senator and I want to make it clear, and I made it clear to the president that if he takes this nation to war in Iran without congressional approval I will make it my business to impeach him, and thats a fact! Its done as a prescriptive way to make it clear to this man that there will be severe consequences because it would be the most dire action we could take at this moment, when 10 of our 12 divisions are tied up in Iraq, to go into a country of 72 million without cause. Iran is no immediate threat to the United States of America.
oh yea, the president was an R , and now it's a D. That's the difference. All the other statements he made would apply to Libya. For the liberals, to make it easier for you to comprehend - Just replace the word "iran" with Libya.

Yeah same principles should apply, but we know the scope, we can see what happens when it is D after the name.
Wishful thinking? Absolutely absurd. Obviously, Biden was talking about the village idiot.
Way to eliminate yourself from serious consideration in all discussions political.
