BBC News - Corporation tax cut beneficial says Secretary of State

Mr Patterson said the move would eventually prove to be beneficial.
"I think the sensible way to do this is to do what Canada did recently and phase things in," he said.

Well, if its good enough for Northern Ireland and Canada, are all these "corporate welfare" programs here, that bad???

I'm cool with corporation tax cuts. We have some of the highest corporate tax rates in the world.

Of course, we should also end the loops holes that many corporations use to circumvent that tax rate. Thats what President Obama meant in the state of the union address. We can lower tax rates, and increase dividends.

Um, those tax rates have been in for quite some time now. Not just under the current President.

Obama gave GE a $3.2B tax credit in the 2009 economic stimulus package. It was not around for quite some time.. In fact GE has lowered their tax rate every year since Democrats took over..
They paid something like 15% in 2008
9% in 2009
and 0% in 2010

So much for people accusing the GOP of being big business...

And that would be that there is no divide in our government when it comes to wall street, corps and big business.

The only divide is the one they play us off on.
