There's a report of a person injured in a pipe bomb explosion. The bomb was hidden in the Sunday paper. A second bomb was found in the same neighborhood.

Here's the actual link I think you're referring to:

OFFICIAL: Only 1 Bomb Found In Vacaville Neighborhood - News Story - KTVU San Francisco

The explosion was in Vacaville--which for anyone who knows anything about the Bay Area, isn't that close to San Francisco--it's about an hour away and 3 counties removed from SF and closer to Sacramento. No one from Northern California would ever refer to Vacaville as a San Francisco suburb, as it wasn't until recently that it was even considered part of the Bay Area.

Also the police on the scene said that it wasn't a pipe bomb and they didn't find any additional bombs.

I was going by an AP news story which referred to it as a suburb of SF
Pipe bomb explosion injures 1 in SF suburb | The Associated Press | California | San Francisco Examiner (http://www.sfexaminer.com/news/california/2011/03/pipe-bomb-explosion-injures-1-sf-suburb - broken link)

Write an email to AP! They are notorious with this stuff. It is not the OP's fault.

Vacaville is about as "San Francisco" as Davis is.

Exactly. It's only barely Bay Area. Closer to Sacramento than to San Francisco.

In Vacaville? I highly doubt it. Vacaville has a history of white supremacist activity, they'd be far more likely culprits.
