So let's see...by my count that leaves one of the original "uniquely qualified team" still sticking by obama - Geitner. He should have been the FIRST to go.
Who knew this "uniquely qualified team" would make such a mess of the recovery with their radical, leftist policies that have historically been proven to not work? I mean, it's not like we should learn from mistakes of the past, is it?
WASHINGTON, June 6 (Reuters) - Top White House economist Austan Goolsbee said on Monday he was stepping down, marking the exit of one of President Barack Obama's top aides at a time when new signs of weakness have emerged in the U.S. economy.
"With anemic job growth, plunging economic confidence, and no real plan to rein in the deficit, this departure is just the latest sign that the president has no answers for Americans concerned about the economy," said Brendan Buck, spokesman for Republican House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner.

He didn't so much resign as get booted out. Someone had to be the scapegoat for last Friday's dismal economic figures. Can't blame Obama's policies, now can we?
It seems to me the Aristocrats of Money are doing to the US what we did to Chile while President Allende (sp?) Lasted. They colluded to completely destroy Allende’s attempts to create a less aristocratic society in his country. They replaced him with a neo-conquistador dictator. These would be tyrants must be incensed by the success of Europe’s mixed economies. How can anyone allow a working class to enjoy the benefits of the wealth they have created.
The simple fact that we are not in a collapsing economy is evidence of the sucess of President Obama's economic policies. In this case a slow recovery is good because a rapid recovery would lead to a more devastating collapse.

Hum.. perhaps.. but then WHY did Goolsbee resign?? Burnt out?
And teach, the article noted that he was going back to teaching at the University of Chicago.
I don't think this was a personal decision on his part but I could be wrong.
