I find it interesting that when people first claimed that guns were going to Mexico from the US many on the right said it was not true and now they complain that they are getting across the border.

H*ll of a difference when BATFE is involved with the gun trafficking, don't you think?

From the OPs linked article, in case you did not bother to read the link. You can also search for the SBS investigation that helped make this known to the general public several weeks ago.

Quote:
Under Project Gunrunner and the Phoenix off-shoot, dubbed Fast and Furious, the ATF encouraged gun store owners to sell to straw buyers -- consumers who they suspected of working on behalf of Mexican drug cartels.

Project Gunrunner purposely allowed the straw buyers to illegally buy and export guns only to see where they surfaced in Mexico.

You don't see a differences between drug dealers purchasing firearms via private sale and purchasing through a licensed FFL who calls the purchase in as highly suspicious to BATFE; and despite the FFLs objections, BATFE instructs the FFL to complete the sale to the suspected straw purchasers anyway so they can "track it"? Really?

Please explain.

Hey everybody, he's got a new nickname! If conservatives were as creative with political ideas as they are with nicknames then this nation would be alright.

Buuuuut nooooooo......

Now for the real test. 150 + 2 equals what. I know that you're slow, so take your time with this one. I'll check back later for the answer.

We had no idea the obama administration was behind it. Usually a nefarious, illegal organization..........oh.....forget it.

He claims he didn't know. Anybody believe that?

Obama told Univision‘s Jorge Ramos that President Felipe Calderon wasn’t informed of the operation because he — the president of the United States — wasn’t informed either. When asked whether he knew of the weapon smuggling plan, Obama responded that it is “a pretty big government” with “a lot of moving parts.”
Yeah, and a program like this is created by low-level flunkies? Sure.
