When potential results are iffy at best it's often wiser to not act.

I can't buy that, I don't believe response to an attack should depend on the position of the attacker and if with all our weapons systems we can't stand up to some scumbag like Gadaffi we have far bigger problems than him, it's just a bit too late now.

I'd say it's far different than China's, they seem content to sell their goods and buy what they need on the world's markets without getting too involved in policing duties. How many countries other than the US fancy themselves the world's police force?
New drinking game. When Obama says "let me be perfectly clear" you take a double shot. When he says "umm" you take a single shot. If you're still able to pour a drink, continue the game with the press who will repeat what he just said and then praise him. Every time the talking heads say something good about Obama and his administration you take a drink. This part only works if you're watching all news networks except FOX News.
lets list some of the various bs we expect to hear from Obama tonight to justify Lybias attack..
"We are not at war"
"We did not attack, NATO did"
"it was a humanitarian effort"
"unprecedented group of coalition forces"
He will go on to explain why he had unilateral authority to attack a sovern nation but Bush did not..
And of course he will go on to explain how he started a war in order to stabalize the area.
Anything else?
Yes, don't forget the OVERUSE of the word CHANGE... and then, HOPE!
