Partisan hackery such as this thread should be denounced. It is getting beyond tiresome in this country.

Intelligent dialogue needs to make comeback.
This couldn't be put any better!! Amen to that!

I could be wrong. There were so many Republicans, in essence, saying the same thing a few weeks ago.
This seems to be Sanrene's former opinion before she realized that is was also Obama's.

Iraq wasn't a NATO mission. The rest of your post is strawman. Try again.

Exit strategies are a good thing.

Neither was Libya until AFTER we bombed them.

Just so we are all clear, you do NOT support intervening militarily in any of those nations or other nations in the future where innocent people are being killed?

Exit strategy?
You mean relying on the stupidity of people to not know most of the NATO forces will be from the USA....LOL

I agree.. lets compare apples and oranges.
How much of the cost in Iraq was authorized by Congress?
How much of the cost in Libya was authorized by Congress?

I'd be emarrased for not knowing that getting an attack authorized by Congress is the legal step, and just attacking people without Congressional authorization is the illegal one.. Some people obviously have no shame.

You really like the strawman I see.

Pointless to debate you.

It was a simple question, perhaps you are worried about who your guy will attack next?

Nothing personal, but you might try brushing up on the facts regarding Libya, you seem a little lost.

Actually I thought Oz made a good point, that Libya wasnt a NATO war until 9 days after America attacked..

And about how 90% of the NATO forces are american, meaning NATO = america..

And if we are going to set the standards that america can attack, unprovoked, without Congressional approval, everytime innocent individuals are being killed then whats stopping us from going into the dozens of other nations with similar situations?

And NATO was formed to DEFEND countries from enemies. It was an alliance that is any member countries were ATTACKED, they would come and defend each other. Libya did NOT attack us..

No, we were only told oil revenues would pay for the war.

If you really think that's a valid question one might ask you what interest you have in Iraqi politics?
