You approve the money spent on bombing Libya because you like the reasons given, you disapprove of the war in iraq because of the reasons given....

Even though the same reason was given in both cases....

Emotion driven 'thinker',thy name is leftist.

But not ALL of you, some leftists have principles, others like yourself flip flop and support the party.

Must REALLY be hard to swallow when the neo-cons behind the Iraq war also support your current war huh?

Obama = Bush's 3rd term, whether we like it or not.

Big spending ways, wars that aren't vital to our national interest, etc.

Like Bush, Obama DIDN'T do away with the patriot act, didn't close Guantanamo, didn't end irrelgular renditions, didn't remove our troops from the ME, etc. He DOES believe in pre-emptive war, he DOES go to war without clear goals or an exit strategy, he hasn't planned for what to do after the dictator is removed and there is rioting in the streets.

The primary basis of Obama's campaign was a lie. His policies are barely distinguishable from Bush's.

Must REALLY be hard to swallow when the neo-cons behind the Iraq war are whining about the comparatively cheap Libyan defense when they LOVED the TRILLIONS that Bush spent on his "three week cakewalk" that has lasted 8 years....

Bet Repugs hate the thought that no Americans were killed...they were sure happy to send them to die in Iraq...

(guess ya missed reading the OP)

Maybe the neocons learned their lesson and don't want another "three week cakewalk".

Did Obama? Is this really the cake walk he is making it out to be? Do we know that radical islamist won't fill the vacuum after Kadaffi leaves?

Did Obama learn ANYTHING from the Bush years, or are we blindly repeating history? For example, Bush didn't adequetly prepare for life after the dictator, he just assumed everything we be okay. Has Obama made adequate preparations? There are no signs of it.

According to the officials numbers from the CBO, the cost is about $700 Billion. The left just continues to repeat the "trillions" falsehood. No one believes it.

Yes it does. Conservatives complain about Bush precisely because of how much he spent.

Obama turned out to be Bush's progeny in all the wrong ways.

It remains to be seen how this turns out, but right now the plan is not to start a war just to tilt the table slightly and prevent Gaddafi from anihilating Libyan's. Bush's master plan (eventiually) was to invade and install a democratic government in Iraq.

This may take a turn for the worst later on but right now the US was able to intervene with no loss of US soldiers and we built up a certain degree of collateral if the rebels do in fact prevail.
