I'm not saying Japanese culture would work in America. I'm just saying that we should try a little tenderness during times of stress.

Yeah, I know there were good stories out of NOLA but the horrors tend to negate the good deeds.

Just for the record, nobody got murdered or raped at the Superdome.
Amid the chaos, there were a lot of erroneous stories.
Things were FUBAR, but there were many exaggerations.
