Y'all need to lose the provincial middle class thinking.

Bankruptcy is a financial management tool. When businesses suffer reverses, they file for reorganization under the bankrupcy code. Some of these losses are out of their control - like the recent meltdown due to the Wall Street crooks.

Trump will never need to file for personal bankruptcy because his assets are in various entities and trusts beyond the reach of creditors.

Face it - he's smarter (and far more ruthless) than most of us - which is why he's a billionaire.

That said, it is unfortunate he is so egotistical and opportunistic that he'll say whatever is necessary to get a vote. But, then again, who are we to judge? He knows there's a sucker born every minute and is willing to pander to that. Any means justifies the end. He learned that long ago.

He might find a creative way, however, to put the U.S. back on solvent footing. Wonder how he'd accomplish that? Wouldn't doubt he'd attempt to renegotiate our debt with China and other creditors. Don't put anything past him. He just might be our savior after all.

his BK oddly was in the news as he was going through a divorce... If you faced losing $1 Billion wouldn't you as a top negotiator feign a problem to get the best deal? hmmm what happened? he feigned BK, gave Ivana 50 million and after settlement all was good again.

He screwed her like he would anyone. All for the Donald, nothing for anyone else wow sounds like he learned from the Bushes.

How Many Times Has Trump Declared Bankruptcy???

Probably fewer times than the current President of the U.S. has bowed to a foreign dignitary, which is more times than a U.S. Olympic sports team has dipped its flag to a foreign head of state.

So the way he runs his businesses is not a reflection on how he would run the country? Bush Jr had a lot of failures in business and look what he did! Live and learn...

The overwhelming majority of Trump's businesses have been successful, only a few went under. You started this thread and got schooled and now you're trying to change the subject.

Let's look back at your original question, How many times has Trump declared bankruptcy? NONE.

Next question?

So then is it plausible to say now that what we are seeing out of Obama is a reflection of the fact that he has never run anything?

He did have some businesses ventures that went under. Here's why his approach is preferrable. 1. He recognized that the numbers didn't work and he was in financial trouble. 2. He admitted it. 3. He didn't do more of the same and dig a deeper hole. 3. He figured out a way to change course.

I'm not so sure about that, his community organizing skills don't seem to be working very well in Libya unless you consider arming our enemies as a benefit to us somehow.

You guys, including the right wingers, actually sicken me. Seriously, you are so wed to the party that if one party did it you would support it and if the other did it you would call it treason. Mental illness all around....ugh.
LOL your calculations are way off "mathguy" better do some research because I call em as I see them. You better concentrate on your spelling or use a spell check instead of labeling folks and calling names.

I'm saying that since he never ran anything (business wise), we are seeing major ineptitude from him
