3 whole times? I know a lot of people who have taken personal bankruptcy that many and more times. They always find someone dumb enough to loan them money.

I don't think people vote for a President based on their father at all so I'm not sure why it matters. I don't really give a damn if Obama's father abandoned him or if Trump's father gave him money to start a business. I'm looking for leadership, backbone and the non-liberal thinking when it comes to voting for a president.

If any of the crap Obama is throwing around this week is involved I doubt many will respect him. Now we do have many here who will vote for him in spite of what he does.

hey, hey it took Bush 8 years to double the debt, lay off. (sarcasm off)

As for Obama, he has had only one budget so far, 2009 was Bush's budget. So he hasn't had a chance to double anything. In the year and a half under Obama's budget he has increased the debt by $2.3 Trillion (about 20%). Bush's last budget added $1.885 Trillion to the debt in one year.

And here we are ladies and gentlemen.. the problem with america.. where you are celebrated if you create deficits, but you are a lousy businessman if you have hundreds of companies, and one of them have continuous financial problems due to a high debt load.. coincidently, the very same debt load you think is good.

The only thing you proved is your priorities are screwed up...

I meant how both got to where they are today. Besides, it seems politics is just like rooting for a sports team, does not matter how you win as long as your team wins. I bet you can guess who loses...

Absolutely. I am not a party line voter. In fact I know several Democrats both personally and from their reputations that I would not only vote for but commit money and time to their campaign

Fair enough, wish others would do the same as in voting someone that would do this country some good instead of blindly following party lines

Attempts to get new financing failed and Trump also failed to renegotiate his loan payments under more favorable terms.

The fact this happened once is bad enough for any business. But this happened THREE TIMES.

And we won't even get into another one of his business foray's that was a disaster known as the Trump Shuttle.

You don't see guys like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Michael Dell, Larry Ellison or Steven Jobs filing for their respective companies under Chapter 11.

Why?

They manage their businesses a hell of lot better than Donald Trump does.

Saying Donald Trump is the savior for a federal budget problem is like throwing a truckload of gasoline on a fire. The guy finances his businesses by taking on debt then files for Chapter 11 when he can't make the payments. YOU WANT THIS GUY CUTTING THE DEFICIT?

If you REALLY think Donald Trump is a savior I have some swampland in Louisiana I'd like to sell you.
That's what I thought. He starts his ventures with other people's money, and has no intentions of adhering to the original terms of payment.

Also, how can so many of his casinos lose money? The "house" isn't supposed to lose. Is he skimming off the top and putting it in all where the investors and creditors can't get to it?

Makes me wonder.
