If we look historically at our economic woes we come to one conclusion. The Federal Reserve will doom our economy.

Our dollar is becoming worthless

Our government is spending unprecedented sums

Our economic system is unstable and unsustainable.

Take a look, the material is a bit dated but it is extremely relevant. This seems like it would be the drum Conservatives and Tea partiers would beat.

Seems we need integrity in government. Our expectations are set so low and they seem to deliver what we expect.

I would hope we could set up our own banking system minus the fed that was honest and really looked after the interest of the country. It may not be popular with banks or politicians though.
