I'm not meaning to excuse any crimes against anyone ever. What about the "most awful crimes of Americans against muslims"? What about the most awful crimes by Americans against Vietnamese, Central Americans,
Philipinos, Cubans, The citizens of Chile?

The presidency is controlled by the banks, the Congress, at least, isn't completely controlled. Bush and Obama? What's the difference between them? Obama is just as much a warmonger as Bush was. Clinton and Palin? Please, Clinton is a huge warhawk and so is Palin. Not one ****ing difference between them, and I'm sick of it!
There is actually a big difference between Bush and Obama
Bush believed in businesses and believed government should get out of the way. You could say that he believed in governments role to help businesses succeed.

Obama believes in government. He believes its governments role to do everything, and there is no need for to help businesses. In fact he believes in taking from the businesses for governments benefit.

The correct method is somewhere in the middle, with a little more libertarian..

I agree with you, I'm sick of it as well. I'm so tired of being told that government is there to take care of you and the whole time they are doing more harm than they are helping...

Did any of you watch MSNBC this am when Chuck Todd and Savannah Guthrie interviewed Trump. The Birther part is hilarious. I don't have a link, but there should be one somewhere.

As much as I despise Bush I think The Donald would be more of an embarrassment, but then ALL
of the possible candidates to date would be embarrassments.

I need to agree. I was moderate before 2008, but watching these idiots compete for the spotlight during that election season then was humorous. The current crop of idiots cropping up to run in 2012 is even more pathetically like a three stooges episode then ever before. Each one tries to say even more crazy and brain damaged then the other in an attempt to, well, I'm not sure what being nuttier and stupider then the next one gets you.

Why would anyone vote these people to lead the nation?

I love it personally. Each deranged comment just gets these people fewer and fewer votes.

if you want vile and idiotic leadership, then you have no further to look than the current sitting president.

Someone has never heard of Sarah Palin!

But back to the point, the sad reality is that the candidate (regardless of party affiliation) who stands up and says what NEEDS to be done as opposed to what you want to hear will never get a single vote.

So sick of the: cut taxes, reduce deficit, make social security soluble, stimulate the economy, reduce unemployment, keep America safe, cut the budget...yada yada promises.

Sad, really.
