I wasn't around then. But I'm pretty sure what they called each other depended on the perspective?

What a mess - looks like the rebels have been attacking civilians as well;

NATO Warns Rebels Against Attacking Civilians
Question of the day; Who is a Libyan civilian in this mess?

http://pajamasmedia.com/tatler/2011/...libyas-rebels/

Quote:
“We’ve been conveying a message to the rebels that we will be compelled to defend civilians, whether pro-Qaddafi or pro-opposition,” said a senior Obama administration official. “We are working very hard behind the scenes with the rebels so we don’t confront a situation where we face a decision to strike the rebels to defend civilians.”
There is NO WAY they can protect civilians without boots on the ground.

Those aren't US military fatigues.

Who's side are you on, USA, or NATO/UN. Seems you have picked UN.
That sounds hauntingly familiar to "but he gased his own people, what are you a terrorist sympathizer?, Sadam was a bad man"

In other parts of the world there are rebels battling government forces with both creating misery and death on civilians like in other African nations and Burma yet I don't see France or England or the U.S.A worrying too much about it.

So I conclude this is about oil once again with a convenient excuse of saving civilians to get involved.

Was he? Now that we are finding out a little about the "rebels", maybe he wasn't actually killing civilians. His forces were fighting rebel forces, who were getting their butts kicked apparently.

Gosh, it all seems so familiar, except for the Left's responses.
