If the UN and NATO had asked him to help, I'm positive he would have asked Congress for the funding, in these times.

Would McCain be a man of his words? Now, that has to be determined by his past convictions.

Even uber-liberal Obamabots like Andrew Sullivan are calling Obama an Imperialist. That's how bad it's gotten.

The Imperial President, Ctd
A shocking piece of contempt for democracy and the constitution from the secretary of state:
The White House would forge ahead with military action in Libya even if Congress passed a resolution constraining the mission, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said during a classified briefing to House members Wednesday afternoon ...Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA), who asked Clinton about the War Powers Act during a classified briefing, said Clinton and the administration are sidestepping the measure's provisions giving Congress the ability to put a 60-day time limit on any military action.

Yep, no words uttered by TheWon as long ago as 2003 can be charged to him now that he has won. Those are all of the kinds of things he is given a pass on today, right?

NEVER going to happen - not in Obama's 1st term or his 2nd.

It won't happen but I do think that most here need to look at what impeachment is. Impeachment is a process that belongs totally to the House of Representatives and takes only a majority vote. Well now who controls the majority of votes in the House? Yep, the Republicans who are always said to be anything but compromisers.

The impeachment process is begun in the House and then the Senate has to throw the bums out, which won't happen today. We will have to see the outcome of the election of 2012 to be sure that the Dems will still control the majority of votes in the Senate.

William Jefferson Clinton WAS impeached by the House but the Republican controlled Senate let him off the hook although he had committed a crime in lying in a court of law. I always was proud of the Senate for not acting against him but that didn't make me like him any more.

Well old "Bite Me" Biden can't really show much power with Boehner so his promise was just another Obama kind of vote buying promise. You know, tell them anything to get some votes since campaign promises are just lies to be forgotten once the election is over.

Keep telling yourself that, if you want to. You're not convincing the rest of us.

I don't like his decision, but it's well within his powers as Commander in Chief.

Commander and Chief, does not make him king, when our Congress is suppose to have equal power as the President.

The Constitution is the chain that holds the Central government down to the peoples level. Or it is suppose to unless your about to become a Dictator, a King(fundamentally changing the USA).
