I'm concerned about that, but from what I've seen of the trailers and what's been on Facebook, it looks pretty promising. I just wonder if it will be showing in my town. Hope I don't have to wait to see it on DVD.

There will be plenty of time. It will be released in 3 parts.
It'll do great business on its opening weekend regardless of whether it's good or not, because all the Rand fans will come out just like the Tolkien fans all came out for "The Fellowship Of The Ring" on its opening weekend.
