It's like I tell people all the time. We didn't back talk our father (or mother) when growing up, because dad would smack us so hard we would wait for our heads to spin off of our shoulders.
At school we didn't backtalk teachers, because the "Board of education" hurt.
All boys should learn to fight early on. Gay, straight, confused, bi, gentle, whatever his "choice" .. If a boy learns to defend himself then he'll only get bullied once, if at all.

Not only to defend himself but to defend girls as well.
All bullying is bad. No one should hurt another human being physically or
verbally. Unfortunately, homosexuals are usually bullied at an early age which continues throughout their maturity because they are different and because parents don't educate their children about such matters. In order to attempt to make a situation better you have to educate people about what is going on so the problem
will hopefully cease.
How do you educate the children when the parents themselves are ignorant on the issue and tend to demonize gays too?
Why only protest about bullying against the homosexuals? What about the kids getting bullied because he wears glasses, or has pimples, is awkward, has a weird voice, walks weird, is slow or is a loner... what about people getting bullied because of those reasons?
If we're going to stand up against bullying, it should ALL forms of bullying, not just "homophobic" ones.
Well, while all bullying is an issue - gays face the most severe cases of it. LGBT teens have the highest rates of suicide of any other group due to issues like bullying.
Stand up against bullies in general, Who cares who or what the victim is, we shouldn't stand for bullying in any way, shape or form.
Are you afraid of the word "gay"? Sure, it's fine to say "no bullying", but the message is a lot more effective if it's specific.

Yes, by the less civilized people. Hopefully we can continue to advance as human beings and learn how to treat each other with respect.
