House GOP budget to call for big changes to Medicare, Medicaid - CNN.com#

Guess we've been shelling all of our hard earned money into these programs for nothing...according to the Republicans, anyways.
Why don't those idiots call for big changes in our foreign policy? There's money for bombs but no money for band aids. Gotta love America. We can always afford to kill and destroy life but not to save and help life. There's always money for banksters, bombs, missiles, fat cats, corporate kickbacks, pork barrel spending, and myriad of other stupid spending. But when it comes to actually helping the elderly and poor there's no money. Oh don't forget about education, nope sorry we can't afford an educated, healthy society. But perpetual war, hell yeah we can always afford that!

CNN says so, it must be true...

It could be true, we will soon see, and maybe some of his ideas are not so nutty. But remember, it takes both houses to approve any bill and the signature of the Pres. I doubt he will sign, I doubt anything like this will come to be and I doubt the Democrats want anything that the Republicans plan to put on the table. I will add, when are libs going to realize we have to cut somewhere. There is room for cuts in every dept, it has to happen.

Our elderly as homeless all over America does not make a pretty picture.
The babyboomers are soon to be all in this category and they have paid into these programs all of their lives. It simply is not right to hurt people
but taking this away. Their are better solutions.

Dishonesty and fear mongering at its finest.

How will a completely bunkrupted country look with no means to protect itself or its citizens? That's where we are headed fast if liberals don't let loose of about half of the "entitlement" spending!

What happens in a lame duck??

Your seeing it perfectly

Nothing.

You soon see the problem is not those newly elected, it is we just need more like them. Then we go at it in another 2 years to hold those accountable.

The writing is on the wall.

If the OP would loo atthe senate fiance committee domiated by democrats then it would be evident tht both programs as well as other face a comig crisis in funding. Even worse look atthe presidents commissio recomendation or the breaux (D) commison on SS and mediare in the past and its conslusions.Mediaid is in even worse hape . We can't just keep kikig those cans down the raod because they will face crisis mode in the future. Op just seem to be hidig his/her head i the sadn and crosing his/her fingers.Witht eh defiit we face their wil be no savingonce we get to dorppigpoint fo the edge as mnay euroepan governments are finding.

And here we have it ladies and gentlement. The GOP trying to make SERIOUS reforms, in order to save failed liberal policies and keep them financiall stable, without bankrupting the nation, and Democrats start waaaaa waaaa.. dont take my welfare....

Maybe if your own part would stop spending on other items, running trillion dollar deficits, these cuts wouldnt be needed.

Maybe you shouldnt be shelling out your hard earned money.. Nope.. never thought of that ha?

And spare me the dribble.. When these programs and other programs run trillion dollar deficits, then it will take HARD EARNED MONEY to pay the taxes to make up for the deficits in the future.

Why do you not care about the children who will be taxed to hell to pay for your programs Kerby?
